How a challenge works
Three steps, no account, and nothing to install.

You give us the product
A link to the page you are looking at, or the product name if you would rather type it. A link gets read once, to see what is on it.

We identify the product
Brand, model, barcode and variant. Matching on a product code is what stops a comparison turning into ten different products with similar names.

We show every price we can find
Cheapest total first, delivery and stock included. If nobody beats it, we say so instead of inventing a saving.
And when we have never seen the product?
We say so, start looking for it, and email you once somebody sells it for less. Every link pasted here tells us which products people actually care about, which is how the catalogue grows.
Where the prices come from
Two supplies, kept apart on purpose, because they come with different promises.
- Merchant feeds
- Stores that connected their catalogue to PriceCannon. We hold their offers, so we can tell you what a price did last month and warn you when it moves.
- Live results
- Fetched from the catalogue the moment you ask, shown once, and not stored. They keep the comparison wide before many merchants have joined, and they always reflect what the merchant is showing right now.
Products are matched on EAN, UPC, GTIN or the manufacturer part number, so the same item from ten shops is one comparison rather than ten. Sponsored placements never enter it: the cheapest total wins the top row and nothing else can buy that position.
